Kosher is the set of religious rules that govern the nutrition of observant Jews. The Hebrew word “Kosher” means compliant or allowed.
In order to be Kosher certified, a product must meet very strict quality standards. The whole production and packaging procedures as well as every single ingredient used in its preparation have to comply to the laws of Kasheruth.
